- דּוּרְגּוֹן, דַּרְגּוֹןm. (דרג) a suite of graded officers. Y.Hor.III, beg.47a הוא וכל דו׳ דידיה Himself and His entire staff (of angels); Y.Snh.II, 20a top דר׳. Ex. R. s. 1 היה מניח דר׳ שלו he (Moses) left his escort.Ylamd. to Num. 12:1, quot. in Ar. דרוגין. Num. R. s. 4 שיהיו עושין דר׳ לפניו that they should form a hierarchy of officers before him. Y.Keth.XII, 35a bot. חמא דורגין דידיהוכ׳; Koh. R. to IX, 10 דרגין (corr. acc.) he saw his (R. Hiyas) suite in the future world, and his eyes became dim.
